TINY PENCIL- ISSUE 1 LAUNCH PARTY
The launch party for the first issue of the Tiny Pencil titled ‘Forest’ is tomorrow night at Gosh Comics, 1 Berwick Street, London, W1F 0DR from 7pm.
You will be able to purchase and receive your copy of this beautiful publication at the event but only pre-orders will be in for the chance to win an original from the amazing contributing artist Vanessa Foley.
Make sure to get there for 7pm to catch the beginning of the live drawing which will feature a number of Tiny Pencil artists.

Secret 7” combines music and art for a good cause. It gives creatives the opportunity to present their interpretation of a selected track from seven designated bands and artists on a one-of-a-kind 7” cover.
I chose the evocative track ‘The Beast’ from the talented Laura Marling. I decided to create this piece with charcoal pencils in order to achieve the planned aesthetic. The concept is related directly to the lyrics, particularly the line “here comes the beast” where I have tried to depict the ‘beast’ coming home via a reflection in the being’s eye.
A step by step process was created in print for Computer Arts magazine (http://www.computerarts.co.uk) with the time lapse being the additional content for those who purchased the issue on iPad.
